He popped the question, celebrated with a wedding shower and pitched in with the wedding plans. Now Nick Lachey is taking another important step in settling down with Vanessa Minnillo: He's selling his bachelor pad. 


The former 98 Degrees frontman, 37, is saying goodbye to the Bel Air, Calif., home he bought from Heidi Klum and Seal in 2006.

The swanky, approximately 4,700-sq.-ft. four-bedroom "contemporary haven," listed two weeks ago on the Trulia real-estate site, is on the market for nearly $6 million. 

Complete with a stylish large pool and Jacuzzi, a spacious outside dining area and a view of Los Angeles, the spot was home to many parties for Lachey and best pals like Matt Leinart.

While some homes are taken off the market because they are not selling for the desired price, Nick Lachey’s home was removed from the Bel-Air real estate market for an entirely different reason.

It wasn’t the amount of the offers, explains listing agent Mauricio Umansky of Hilton & Hyland, but simply Lachey wasn’t ready.

“It was on the market for two months and he ended up getting multiple good offers but he decided it was a bit too early,” said Umansky.

A year later, the home is back on the market for $6,995,000 and this time, says Umansky, Lachey is ready to let go of the house.

The singer and TV personality purchased this house, which was owned before by fashion model Heidi Klum, for over $5 million shortly after his highly publicized break up with Jessica Simpson. after that, he redecorated the property to be the "ultimate bachelor pad." The Property features overlooking Los Angeles, the Pacific ocean, a Modern Contemporary design, clean lines and offers a spectacular party pool.

The kitchen has also dark floors and brown furniture. The room is brighter due the huge windows and glass door. All rooms have the same design dark stained hardwood floors, brown walls and and darker furniture. The billiard room has sport memories hanging on the walls. This is a house especially created and designed for a single and famous man. The outdoor features a pool, a spa, cozy chaise lounges and a sunken bar that permits you to have a drink without leaving the pool.

In addition to his hilltop bachelor pad in Los Angeles, Mister Lachey is said to maintain an apartment at the Atelier building in Midtown Manhattan–rumored to have been "lent" to Mister Lachey in exchange for publicity–and we've read on a couple of occasions that he also owns home in Tacoma, WA but we don't know nuthin' about that and a cursory peep and poke around the property records turned up nada. Property records also show Mister Lachey co-owns a 4,374 square foot home in Cincinnati, OH with his father.
